I recently found myself at the charming Havendijk Hotel, and what a pleasant surprise it was after a less-than-ideal previous accommodation. The spacious suite, complete with a terrace that offered lovely river views, was a delightful haven to unwind in after our 25-minute trek with luggage. While the restaurant was closed, we were met with incredibly helpful staff who pointed us toward some nearby dining options, making us feel at home right away. Every detail, from the comfortable bedding to the well-presented breakfast buffet, promised a restful retreat, ideal for art enthusiasts like me searching for inspiration in the tranquil surroundings. With a picturesque area perfect for cycling and leisure, I'd definitely recommend Havendijk Hotel for those seeking a cozy urban escape that pairs comfort with a touch of Dutch character.
